Notes from Nancy
As the end of October comes to a close, be sure and enjoy the beautiful colors on the trees–at least they are beautiful here in Michigan. I do love the nip in the air and the wool clothes that have been stored under the bed all summer. (It seems like I just finished washing my wool sweaters and putting them away!) Dad is doing great and I will be visiting him this weekend. Now down to business.
Amelia, Jo Morton’s newest line of 33 bolts came Friday and I am really in love with the fabrics. It is on the website and fat quarter bundles, fat eighth bundles, and 4″x 10″ candies are ready to go home with you. Elise has been busy putting more wool kits together which will make your Christmas gift giving easy.
We are starting a Small Quilts Club on the first Wednesday of each month. There is no charge for this as it is not a class. Bring one of your small quilts, your sewing machine and your cutter etc. I will furnish the iron and the coffee. We will open at 10:00 as we always do. . We will send out a small newsletter in a couple of weeks with details on the Deer Widows Hunt the 16th of November and the Black Friday and Small Business Saturday specials so enjoy the rest of the newsletter, check out my ad in the Country Register, and keep stitching.
